Today I scored a historic victory in the ongoing war against the mindless zombies; although impressive, it is but a small contribution on the whole scale of things. I planted, I mowed, I was extremely patient watching my plants grow and I treated them with the upmost respect. That's what won this battle, but it won't win the war. Plants vs. Zombies; you wouldn't expect it, eh? Those brainnumb critters haven't lost their taste for veg yet, even if their ultimate aim in traversing my plant-obstacle strewn lawn is to munch my own precious grey matter. But they have been stopped in their tracks. Peas, sweetcorn, potato mines and cabbages were all valuable weapons in this fight and I won the match. Even with all the ladders, buckets, pogo sticks and bobsleds; if the enemy could think, they'd be best seriously reconsidering their options before jumping into my backgarden again.
Now I can be left to potter round the garden tending to my crops in peace. Well...except for the next door neighbour anyway....we all know he's crazy.
